On June 14th, Saving Kids Foundation proudly hosted the first annual “Miles of Hope” 5K Family Run & Roll—a joyful, inclusive event where kids, families, and individuals using wheelchairs came together to move for a cause that matters.
Held at Taylor Creek Park, the event drew participants and supporters from across the Greater Toronto Area, and even beyond—families traveled from Ottawa, Montreal, and London to join the fun!
Our vibrant booth was a hub of warmth and community. We shared stories, raised awareness about our mission, and received generous donations that will help provide essential equipment, therapy, and support to children with mobility challenges.
Over 200 runners and rollers took part, including young children, seniors, and entire families running side by side. The event was more than a race—it was a celebration of inclusion, resilience, and hope.
We are deeply grateful to all the volunteers, partners, and supporters who made this day unforgettable. Your presence fuels our mission to help every child move, grow, and thrive. 💚

📍 Location: Chalkfarm Park & Greenwood Park
🕙 Time: 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM
dation joined forces with local food support networks for a heartfelt event at Chalkfarm Park, Toronto, under the banner “Feeding Families Together.” This initiative brought relief and dignity to over 250 households, distributing essential supplies including baby formula, diapers, and nutritious food—especially to newcomers, seniors, and young mothers.
Among the inspiring stories was that of Lucía and her teenage daughter, Martina, who volunteer every Saturday morning at Greenwood Park as part of a passionate team of over 40 volunteers. Their efforts contribute to a growing, community-led program now serving more than 190 households each week. For Lucía, giving back isn’t just service—it’s a way to teach her daughter the value of compassion and unity.
